NEW VIDEO: ISAAC ALBÉNIZ: TRIANA (IBERIA II:III)

It is my pleasure to present this latest recording of Albéniz' impressionistic masterpiece, recorded by the kind and talented folks at AdAudio in Brighton.

It was once said of Albéniz' immensely beautiful, nuanced and intimidating Suite Iberia: "There is really nothing in Isaac Albeniz's ''Iberia'' that a good three-handed pianist could not master, given unlimited years of practice and permission to play at half tempo." Obvious (yet occasional) technical shortcomings aside, I am pleased with the colorations and corners of this ultimately poetic work, and I hope that it provides some comfort to every listener in these strange and uncertain times.
